Monte Tauro

Built according to a futuristic plan in the 1970s, following extensive restoration works, this building still retains its sophisticated modern character. Its new design and the use of exclusive materials have given a new image: exotic wood for the floors of rooms and terraces, diffuse illumination designed following ecological principles, special plaster that gives a silk effect for walls and ceilings.

Location

Very near the centre of Taormina and from the Teatro Greco Romano. It is simple to arrive from the airport of Catania (50Km) and the port of Messina (35Km).

Bedrooms

All of the junior suites and the bedrooms have sea view and ADSL internet connection, fax, sat tv and pay per view, breakfast and relax area, elegant and comfortable bathrooms. They are available with the following characteristics:
Double room bathroom with shower, balcony or terrace with sea view with table and chairs in teak.
Junior suite deluxe with Jacuzzi, walk-in-closet, lounge area, wide terrace with sea view equipped with table, chairs and chaise lounge in teak.

Restaurant

The Hotel has a panoramic restaurant with a spectacular view of the Gulf of Naxos and Mt. Etna. The chef prepares a Mediterranean cuisine with particular attention to the region’s typical products.
