Club Torre del Barone

A modern and comfortable structure developed on 5 levels, located inside the touristic hotel park of Sciaccamare, very close to the beautiful long sandy beach. The club provided with an equipped spa which is accesible from inside thank to a particular modern lift. The modern and elegant hotel offers its guests a first class infrastructure together with the typical amusement and dinamicity of a club. It is ideal for relaxing holidays and animated at the same time.

Location

The club is located in Sciacca, in the lush and wide park of Sciaccamare, in the south-western of the island at about 120 km from the "Falcone and Borsellino" airport of Palermo, 100 km from the port of Palermo, 65 km from Agrigento and 4 km from the town centre of Sciacca a famous town spa of Sicily.

Rooms

A main building of 5 levels with 231 amplesized, beautiful and elegant bedrooms elegantly furnished. All of them are equipped with ensuite bathroom (shower), hair dryer, air conditioning, terrace overlooking the sea, telephone, refrigerator, safe box and TV.

Amenities

Also available to guests, for free, safe, parking, reading rooms, TV room, piano bar, disco. Upon payment: bar, hairdresser, spa treatments, medical assistance, car rental, office tours, shuttle to Sciacca. A wide fresh water swimming pool with area reserved for children and an indoor swimming pool naturally heated to 28 degrees (except July and August). The club also offers: tennis, archery, basketball, volleyball, mini-golf, football field, bowling, table tennis, gymnastics, sailing, wind-surfing, canoes. There are courses organized every day initiation classes of different sporting disciplines and during the weekend the finals of various sports tournaments, including awards. It is possible to use the sports gear even without participation in courses and tournaments for free. Water sports are available from May to September and depende on weather conditions. The animation program provides daily games at the swimming pool and the beach, sports tournaments, lessons, dance classes and evening variety shows, cabaret evenings. Animated evenings are organized also at tge piano bar and discoteca. There are also Mini club (4 to 12 years) and Junior club (12 to 11 years) with entertainment programmes and sports free of charge during the school holidays every day except Friday. A beautiful fine sand beach equipped with umbrellas and lounge chairs reacheable by foot through the short paths between the Mediterranean vegetation or with free shuttle service provided by a train.

Cooking&Eating

Meals are served in a wide and elegant air conditioned dining room and a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the sea, and are offered with an abundant and varied buffet. Free wine in carafes during main meals. Each week there gastronomic thematic evenings such as the Sicilian evening, the wide fish buffet, the gala dinner, the exotic evening and many other surprise evenings.
