Baia d'Oro

The Hotel is located facing a wonderful bay on a lovely beach directly on the sea. It is surrounded by the vegetation of a wide and beautiful park with a mild and fresh climate the whole year round. The crystal clear sea bathes a golden sand beach. The bay of Mollarella is a splendid inlet of fine sand. The private area of the beach reserved for the hotel guests, is wide and full equipped. The shallowness of the water, makes this beach the ideal place for families with children. The landscape and the weather are excellent and make this hotel the ideal place to enjoy the holidays in total relax or to be the departure point for cultural excursions. It is at only 20 min by car to the extraordinary Valle dei Templi of Agrigento and one hour from the wonderful mosaics of Villa Romana del Casale di Piazza Armerina. Licata with its churchs, monuments and its villas Liberty, as well as with an hinterland full of flavour and traditions will be reachable any time.

Location

The Baia d'oro Hotel is located in the south coast of Sicily, and only 5 km from the centre of Licata. The same distance separates Licata from Agrigento and Gela.

Bedrooms

40 bedrooms in the main building, almost all of them with sea view and a small terrace and some of them with park view, also there are 32 bungalow bedrooms with private veranda surrounded by the green vegetation. All of the rooms have private bathroom, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (upon request), sat TV and telephone with direct line.

Amenities

Air condtioned restaurant, 2 bars, one of them in the swimming pool area, lounge room, TV room, meeting and congress room, wide parking, open air swimming pool for adults with whirlpool area and swimming pool for children with qualified animation staff. At the private beach, to which it is possible to access directly from the hotel, there are sun umbrellas and sun beds. Congress room with 100 seats equipped with screen and projector. The animation offers: games, activities, competitions, piano bar, daily activities such as acqua gym, step, aerobics, Latin dances and swimming. The miniclub is from 4 to 10 years old with a professional team animation.

Restaurant

It is possible to taste delicious national and regional dishes, drinking excellent wines from the supplied wine cellar. The breakfast is a buffet. The lunch and the dinner are served at the table. During the summer it is usually eating in the outdoor terraces.
