Sporting Club

The Sporting Club is a touristic complex which has two- levels bungalows and it surrounded by a wide garden, among pines, hibiscus, olive trees, bouganvillea and geranium, very close to the beach where low reefs alternate with sandy pebbled coves. An amazing location which overlooking the famous Cathedral of Cefalù. A lovely sandy pebbled beach equipped with deckchairs and sun umbrellas (free service), is accesible on foot following a short path at about 350 metres.

Location

The Sporting club complex is situated at 5 km from Cefalù , a fishermen's village and famous touristic Sicilian place. It is 68 km from the port of Palermo and 99 km from the airport of Palermo.

Rooms

The club provided with 9 buildings of 2 levels in Mediterranean style located along blooming paths that host 188 bedrooms with 2 beds and a balcony if they are situated on the first floor or with three or four beds and a terrace if they are situated on the ground floor. All of them are equipped with ensuite bathroom, telephone, air conditioning or a ceiling fan.

Amenities

Reading room and TV room, boutiques, bars, amphitheatre, disco, panoramic terrace, playground for children with sun umbrellas, piano bar, internet point. At the club there is an office that offers an excursion service attended by hostesses; public shuttle bus to Cefalù, 3 tennis fields, 2 swimming pools, one for children, table tennis, 5-a-side soccer, windsurf, sailing, canoeing, volleyball (water sports from May to September and depending on weather conditions), gymnastics, aerobics, dance and stretching; group course and the use of sports gear. During the day acua gym in the swimming and the beach, entertainment games, dance classes, bingo. During the evening at the amphitheatre dance and piano bar evenings. For children there is a Mini Club (4-12 years old) and a Junio Club (12-17 years old) every day with the exception of Friday. Available for free, the possiblity to do recreational and educational activities under the careful monitoring of animators. The activities begin in the morning at 9.00 and end the evening at 19.00.

Cooking&Eating

A restaurant with outdoor terrace welcomes guests for main meals served with buffet service. Free water and wine in carafes. Every week there are several thematic gastronomica evenings: seafood evening with a large seafood buffet and grilled fish, evening with Sicilian dishes, pizza spaghetti party, farewell dinner, etc... Midnight gastronomic surprises at the disco and the piano bar.
