Excelsior Grand Hotel

The Excelsior Grand Hotel is located in the centre of the lively city of Catania, a stone’s throw from the natural scenery of Etna. Bedrooms

All rooms have electronic lock, autonomous air conditioning, a wide desk, internet connection, sat TV, Pay TV, telephone, minibar, and individual safe with personal combination. the bathroom, in marble, has shower and bathtub, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers; courtesy line by Laura Tonatto fragrance. Room service and pay laundry service. Most of the rooms have a comfortable balcony facing the square and a spectacular view to Europe’s biggest volcano. An entire floor has been reserved for non-smokers. They are divided into the following typologies:
Superior Rooms: They are available with twin bed or a double bed, queen size. Approx. 20 m2.
Deluxe Rooms: They are available with twin bed or a double bed, queen size. All the Deluxe Rooms have a wide balcony. It is also possible to request a cot or an additional bed. Approx. 22 m2.
Executive rooms: They are available with twin bed or a double bed, queen size. With this type of room it is possible to have a cradle or third bed added. Approx. 25 m2.
Junior Suite: They are the ideal for business travellers loving the large and comfortable spaces. In Neoclassical style, the rooms have a high level of comfort and within the same room a living room, a large writing desk with a lamp.
Suite: They are Elegantly furnished, in a classic and modern style, the rooms have two separate spaces, with a living room, writing – desk and all facilities of an office, and the bedroom, large and completely soundproofed.

They are divided into 6 rooms from 10 to 130 seats and a Congress Centres with Business Centre and secretary service, workstation and fax, that can host up to 350 people. Cooking&Eating

The Le Zagare restaurant serves guests in a large, brightly lit dining room. Every detail of the furnishings is cared for, in a harmony of delicate shades. The restaurant faces the internal garden, providing a view during the summer months of a leafy oasis of plants and citrus trees. The creative, high-level cuisine features authentic regional flavours and is very attentive to products from this rich and generous soil. An excellent selection of wines, including some important local labels.
