Excelsior Grand Hotel

The Excelsior Grand Hotel is a modern and efficient hotel located in the centre of the lively city of Catania, a stone’s throw from the natural scenery of Etna. It has always been present in all of the events that take place in the city. It re-opened in the year 2001 with new decoration that exalt the fascination for tradition and details. All of the rooms have all the necessary comfort plus a technological level such as PC plug, individual safe with personal combination. Superior Rooms: They are available with twin bed or a double bed, queen size. Deluxe Rooms: They are available with twin bed or a double bed, queen size. Perfect for business and leisure travellers, these rooms have, directly from the city centre, a beautiful sight to the Vulcan Etna. All the Deluxe Rooms have a wide balcony. It is also possible to request a cot or an additional bed. Executive rooms: They are available with twin bed or a double bed, queen size. Thanks to the position the rooms are particularly large and full of light. They are ideal for those who love the comfort a 5-star luxury hotel can offer. Junior Suite: They are the ideal for business travellers loving the large and comfortable spaces that only a 5-star hotel can offer. In Neoclassical style, the rooms have a high level of comfort and within the same room a living room, a large writing desk with a lamp.
Suite: They are Elegantly furnished, in a classic and modern style, the rooms have two separate spaces, with a living room, writing – desk and all facilities of an office, and the bedroom, large and completely soundproofed.

American bar, with elegant woodwork and furnishings. Congress areas, wide and with the la test high-tech. They are divided into 6 rooms from 10 to 130 seats and a Congress Centres with Business Centre and secretary service, workstation and fax, that can host up to 350 people. Restaurant

The Le Zagare restaurant serves guests in a large, brightly lit dining room. Every detail of the furnishings is cared for, in a harmony of delicate shades. The restaurant faces the internal garden, providing a view during the summer months of a leafy oasis of plants and citrus trees. The creative, high-level cuisine features authentic regional flavours and is very attentive to products from this rich and generous soil. An excellent selection of wines, including some important local labels.
