Location

The Hotel Federico II is located in the historic centre of Castiglione di Sicilia, a medieval town between the Etna and Alcantara. Castiglione di Sicilia was already inhabited by Greeks from 403 BC. Over the centuries belonged to Romans, who built bridges, Arabs who changed the irrigation systems, and Normans Swabian, under which the city of Castiglione became capital. To visiting Castiglione means admire a rich historical and cultural heritage dating back to different eras and dominations, each of which has left testimonies of inestimable value.
