Club Solunto Mare

The Solunto Mare is a modern and elegant hotel. It offers relaxing holidays in a classy complex with all the advantages that the club formula provided. Due to is location, the club is an excellent base for very interesting excursions nearby: the baroque villas of Bagheria, monuments of Palermo and Cefalù, Sicilian hinterland.

Location

The Club is situated at about 15 km from Palermo, on the seashore, not far from the lovely town of Casteldaccia. It is also 18 km from the port of Palermo and 52 km from the airport of Palermo.

Rooms

84 luxurious rooms, most of them with balconies and view of the Gulf of Casteldaccia, elegantly furnished and equipped with every comfort: bathroom, air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, radio, telephone, hair dryer. All rooms are also soundproofed.

Amenities

The hotel offers: safe, parking, reading room, television room, boutiques, conference rooms, bar, piano bar, car rental, service excursions. The club has a fresh water swimming pool, tennis court and bowling, table tennis, canoeing and wind-surfing (water sports from May to September depending on weather conditions). Among the activities: sports, tournaments, gymnastics, aerobics. Possibility to use sport gear for free even without participation at group classes or tournaments. The staff proposes swimming pool games and beach games, tournaments and sports tournaments, gymnastics during morning and afternoon. Then evening dancing at the piano bar and entertainment games. The club overlooks a sandy beach, equipped with umbrellas and lounge chairs (free). A bridge allows you to bathe in the breakwaters of the barrier.

Cooking&Eating

Solunto Mare boasts an inventive and refined cuisine. Delicious buffet for breakfast and for lunch and dinner are set in the wide air conditioned dining room. Each week there is a gastronomic evening based on Sicilian specialties, an evening with grilled seafood and fresh fish, spaghetti and pizza party, a gala dinner and other thematic events. Free water and wine in carafes at meals.
