Hotel Falconara Charming House & Resort

The Hotel Falconara Charming House & Resort is located on the south eastern coast of Sicily, along the road connecting Agrigento to Ragusa, this brand new complex is situated in a place with an enchanting charm. It dominates the sea enriched by the magic atmosphere of a neighboring Medieval Castle Falconara, built in Norman times. The hotel opened in 2007, and it was built on the same land which previously was home of the peasants who were providing service within the Castle. The attention to detail, choice of construction materials, essential and elegant in their purity, make a unique environment, creating a reality where they merge into a sublime art and nature. Just 200 m from the sea there is the main building of the resort, called the Club House, completely new structure that, in addition to most rooms, houses all the main services such as reception, lobby, bar, restaurant and wellness center . Particular attention was paid to the work of restoration of La Fattoria, an old dependance of the Castle, which today houses part of the rooms and represents a direct balcony over the sea of the new resort.

Location

Falconara Charming House & Resort is 120 km from Catania, 210 from Palermo and 220 from Trapani. From the resort can be reached in a short time, the Villa del Casale at Piazza Armerina with its splendid mosaics, Caltagirone with it ceramics and the pearls of the Sicilian Baroque, Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Scicli.

Rooms

All 65 rooms are equipped with telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, mini-bar, safe, bathroom with hairdryer and bathroom with shower. They differ in the following categories: Classic double rooms:

located in the central body Club House may be on the ground floor with patio or garden on the first floor with balcony with sea view

located in the central body Club House with a double bed with possibility of extra bed in the living area, bathroom with bathtub and separate shower, may be on the ground floor with patio or garden on the first floor with balcony with sea view

at the "Fattoria" situated on the ground floor with patio, some with 2 French style beds and a third bed on request and they are in front of the garden, others are fitted with double bed and face the sea.

at the "Fattoria" with a double bed and a third bed in living area, they may be on the ground floor with patio facing the sea front or garden, or first floor with terrace facing the sea.

at the "Fattoria" very large (even on two levels), all with double bed and possible third or fourth bed, unique (Baron  Chiaramento Bordonaro, Principe Branciforte, Montereale, Pietrapagliata), bathroom with bathtub and separated shower situated on the ground floor with patio facing the sea, or the first floor with garden or terrace facing the sea front.

Amenities

The accommodation structure has in the Club House a reception, lobby, bar, restaurant, spa with 2 massage rooms, Turkish bath, gym and relax area. The services of the wellness center (turkish bath and massage) are available with the payment of a fee. The sports area has a swimming pool and a tennis court with an instructor available (upon payment of a fee) from 06 June to 13/09, with pool bar, playground for children (4-11 years) and canoe on the beach. Parking not guarded. The Falconara Resort is equipped to host meetings and events of any type, thanks to versatile spaces, multifunctional, equipped with every comfort, in line with the location of the Hotel. Usual shops and services in Licata (11 km) and Gela (20 km).
The structure has an embankment with sand of the sea positioned just above the beach, equipped with umbrellas, sunbeds, beach towels;

Cooking&Eating

Half board bases with buffet breakfast and dinner with tasting menues based on appetizers, first, main course, fruit and dessert served at the tables. At lunch the possibility to eat lunch (upon payment) a light lunch or snack at the bar.
