Hotel Brucoli Village

At 30 minutes from Catania and a few kilometers from Siracusa, an immense park that borders the Ionian sea where buildings are dominated by tall palms and are hidden by a lush sub-tropical Mediterranean vegetation. Wooden bridges, fountains, water games are the frame of an architectural and natural area that gently laps down to the sea. A small garden separates the accommodation structure from Brucoli which can be reached thanks to a transfer service by boat (2-3 min approx). Paths lead to the wonderful lawn that reaches the shore where there is, amonng other things, an equipped solarium with sun umbrellas and deck chairs. The accommodation structure is 47 km from the port of Catania and 46 from its airport.

Rooms

It has a two story central building and several bungalows with 447 rooms, totally renovated, pleasing, furnished in a simple but cheerful way with decorative elements in Mediterranean colours. They all have private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, TV, refrigerator. It is made up of a central body and two side wings. All the rooms, no matter their location have the advantage of a vegetation view.

Amenities

The winter garden is located in a wide closed area with big windows. It is the ideal place to relax reading a book or just to join with your friends. There is also a TV room, coiffeur, bazaar, bar, external disco, nursing, car rental, parking, shuttle bus (upon payment) to the centre of Brucoli. There is a lovely swimming pool with sea water and a smaller one for children located in the middle of tall palms and trees equipped with sun umbrellas and deck chairs, sailing, windsurfing and canoeing for those who love water sports (from May to September). Immersed in a beautiful pine forest there are 6 tennis courts plus a training wall, volleyball, basketball and soccer with night lighting, bowling, table tennis, gymnastics, aerobics, group lessons and free use of sports gear. Nursery and Baby-club (babies and children under 4 years) upon payment. Mini-club (4-11 years) and Junior club (12 - 16 years) available during school holidays every day (except Friday) for free. There are special menus for children, snacks, sports activities, tournaments, shows and evenings, under the control of specialized personnel. The meeting place of the village is the swimming pool and especially the square of the village, where there is the amphitheatre and the initial point of the various paths that lead to the sea, the sports centre, disco and nautic base. During the day the animation team proposes many sporting activities and games that are conducted on the beautiful lawn that runs towards the sea, by the pool and the bar. There are also games, coffee games, tournaments of cards and sports equipment, musical entertainment. Then during the evening at the amphitheatre the different shows are proposed: cabaret evenings with games of chance, evenings with the participation of clients, and dance. In addition evenings in a disco and soccer tournaments at night. Through the small paths and steps you can arrive to a beautiful lawn that runs towards the coast, equipped with umbrellas and lounge chairs.

Cooking&Eating

Central Restaurant with a beautiful terrace overlooking the Gulf of Brucoli and an indoor lounge room with air conditioning. Another restaurant outside near the sea La Griglia di Nettuno where they served at lunchtime and evening, spaghetti and grilled appetising (reservation at the reception office). Moreover, near the disco, a pizzeria where they organize evenings surprise parties with pizza and bruschettas. All meals are with buffet service: abundant and delicious breakfasts, lunch and dinner with hot and cold dishes with Sicilian specialties and grilled meat and fish. Free wine in carafes. At the village there are several rendez-vous not to be missed as the Sicilian evening which has a large gastronomic buffet with Sicilian specialties, seafood evening with a superb buffet and grilled fish, the gala dinner with a particularly refined dinner, the exotic evening and thematic culinary evenings.
