Case Tonnara

The houses Tonnara are 2 apartments in the village of La Tonnara in Tindari Mare - Oliveri, so called because its stems from an old tuna trap used up to the 50s. The village is opened throughout the whole year and faces the sea and it is surrounded by a lush and well-kept park full of flowers, with a beautiful sandy beach, partly free and partly equipped with the possibility in the summer to rent deckchairs, sun beds and umbrellas, kayak and pedal, and equipped with showers, lifeguard, bar and snack bar.

Location

Tonnara houses are located inside the residence Tonnara which faces the lovely Tonnara beach that stretches across the Gulf from Capo Milazzo to Capo Tindari where stands the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Tindari, with its archaeological area and its splendid Greek Theater, where during summer there are numerous stage plays and cultural activities. From the beach it is possible to the five Aeolian Islands (Vulcano, Lipari, Salina, Panarea and Stromboli), weather permitting, as well as the magnificent Capo Milazzo.

Apartments

Both apartments are located on the first floor of the two story complex. Each apartment is on two levels and has: lounge a kitchenette, two / three beds (two single beds and a sofa bed or a double sofa bed and one single bed) and a panoramic window overlooking the lush park inside the village, a bathroom with shower, a double room with a window to the park located in the loft facing the environment below. There is also a common use terrace. The apartments are equipped with: a drying rack and a deck chair situated at the entrance, comfortable retractable mosquito nets, color tv and are well air-conditioned (hot, cold). The apartments do not have bed or bath linen.

Amenities

The residence has; reception, ice cream bar shop, restaurant, pizzeria, TV room, 2 communicating pools, one for adults and one for children, both usable with mandatory cap, from May until October, tennis court, soccer field, ping-pong. In July and August there daytime and evening entertainment activities (shows and entertainment), mini club and recreational sports tournaments, making the residence a real tourist village. It is not necessary to pay a club card. During the summer it is possible to enjoy different conventions with the restaurant is for the full board or half board basis. It is also available the service of hot meals to take away. Near the residence there is a large free parking with trees, while during the summer season there is a wide berth for small and medium-sized boats (upon payment) and bike rental (upon payment). From the residence every day, from May met to the end of September, fast boats for mini cruises to some of the Aeolian Islands (Vulcano, Lipari, Salina, Panarea, Stromboli and Filicudi). At about ten minutes by car from the La Tonnara Tindari Mare - Oliveri, there is the lovely spa centre of Castroreale Terme (Terme di Vigliatore) open all year round.

Cooking&Eating

The apartment has a kitchenette. The kitchen linen is not available.
