Casalicchio Apartments

These apartments are located in Casalicchio Farm House, the name of which comes from that of the feud belonging to the family of the present owners since 1816. The property has been recently renovated (2001) in respect of its original architecture. It is situated in a panoramic position on the valley of Platani river and consists of two buildings, as well as some support buildings, where some apartments have been constructed. These apartments have private entrance, bathroom, TV, heating, minibar and an outdoor area in their front.

Location

This farm is in the heart of Sicily, 47km from the temples and the Hellenistic quarter of Agrigento, 50km from the beach of San Leone, 87km from Palermo and about 45km from Caltanissetta.

Apartments

This accommodation facility has three apartments equipped with kitchenette: Fresia: 3 double bedrooms, 45m2 wide living room with two double sofa beds, a kitchen with dishwasher and large oven, 2 bathrooms (the one with Jacuzzi bathtub and the other with shower), terrace with gazebo and table; Orchidea: 1 double bedroom on an intermediate floor, a living room/kitchen with two single beds, 1 bathroom.
Ginestra: 2-floor apartment composed of 2 double bedrooms, a living room with double sofa bed, 2 bathrooms.

Services&Amenities

Solarium, swimming pool, tennis, bowling green, playground for children, gym and billiards room, car park, luggage storage. Upon payment/request: taxi/transfer, excursions (on foot or horseback), bike/off-road hire, cooking courses, archeology, organic products.

Cooking&Eating

This Farm House works according to the methods of organic agriculture and borders on some dairies, olive oil mills and wineries with high quality production. The cuisine is typical, local, tasty and healthy (vegetarian upon request).
