Farm house Le Rocche

The Farm House Le Rocche, 5-star, is part of a biological farm of approximately 80 hectares planted mainly with olive groves, citrus groves, orchards, fichicondieti, berries (blueberries, raspberries, currants, blackberries and strawberries), vegetables and fodder, pasture and woods, located in front of the Aeolian Islands, dominating the old Tindari and bordering the Nebrodi Park and Park of the Etna. It is ideal for a vacation in contact with nature and the true flavors of the Sicilian land. The accommodation structure is composed of two completely independent structures  distant about 5 km between them, the Villa Le Rocche ancient aristocratic villa of 1784, located on a hill 400 m above sea level, and the farm Fontanavena, ancient fortified farm, located at 300 meters above sea level, overlooking the valley of Tindari with the sea and the Lipari Islands in the background.

Location

The villa Le Rocche is located on a hill overlooking the Arab-Norman village of S Piero, surrounded by a lush park. It is about 13 km from Patti, and about 100 km from the airport of Catania.

Rooms

The rooms are in neoclassical houses, surrounded by a park with oak trees, rich with flower beds, stone benches, and populated by peacocks, pheasants, ducks, swans and deer with a magical atmosphere result of centuries of history that have resulted in 300 years of its existence. The rooms are equipped with color TV, some with air conditioning, all with central heating, private bathroom, and furnished with sought after furniture and with antiques.

Amenities

Immersed in the greenery of the park there are in three pools: two for a refreshing swim and one to relax and enjoy sitting in the magnificent landscape, all equipped with solarium and large spaces of service and comfort. The farm also has a tennis court and soccer field lighting, a basketball court, table tennis, archery, a horse riding area. Activities proposed: pathways for ipotourism, trekking and excursions by bicycle or horse, minizoo, didactic farm rooms. For visitors there are two small game areas. Upon request, costs to be agreed, baby-sitter with games and activities. Shuttle service to the sea and calls for the hydrofoils to the Aeolian islands, guided tours in the park Nebrodi and the Etna, Marinello and Tindari Lakes. Upon request, shuttle service to the railway station of Patti or Milazzo, the airport of Reggio Calabria and the airport of Catania. The guests can also take advantage of all the food services and entertainment at the Fontanavena belonging to the same property situated just 5 km.
