La Muraglia Farm House

La Muraglia is located in the countryside of Ragusa, among olive, almond and carob trees and it enjoys a wonderful panorama over the Mediterranean Sea, a few minutes from the large and beautiful beaches with fabulous sunsets and fine golden sand. La Muraglia was a farm first built at the beginning of the 19th century; it has been recently and carefully renovated with the use of biocompatible and traditional Sicilian materials. Ancient stone walls and special environments make this place particularly charming. This accommodation facility welcomes its guests in a warm and homely atmosphere characterized by the typical Sicilian hospitality.

Location

This farm house is in Santa Croce Camerina. about 150km from the port and airport of Catania. The most beautiful and charming Baroque towns of Val di Noto (UNESCO heritage: Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Scicli, Noto) are only a few kilometres from this quiet oasis.

Rooms

The 6 rooms of the central building, all spacious and furnished with care and attention to details, have private bathtoom, air-conditioning, minibar, TV and safe. Each room was designed to offer the guests the maximum comfort while respecting the style and secular traditions of Sicily. The linen curtains are embroidered by hand in the Sicilian “sfilato” style, the furnishing is characterized by restored ancient art furniture; bathrooms, functional and with taps and fittings in style, are furnished with care and taste. The rooms of the new cottage have all kinds of comforts: air-conditioning, minibar, LCD TV with satellite decoder, safe, writing desk and armchair. Bathrooms have some precious coverings with coloured ceramics from Vietri and elegant stylish pieces.
