B&B Al Cortiletto

Rita, the hostess, a former dynamic teacher with the passion for travelling, who loves to relate to guests, includes a personalised introducion of the city for those who visit it for the first time. "Al Cortiletto" offers studios and two toom apartments located in a charming building of the "700", fully restored, which is accessed through a typical courtyard with a staircase. The terraces of the house overlook the picturesque landscape of Modica: right in front you see the magnificent facade of the church of San Giorgio, one of the most typical examples of Sicilian Baroque. The landscape at night can even be defined as magical.

Location

"Al Cortiletto" situated in Corso Umberto I, one of the main streets of low Modica. A few steps from the bus station, situated at the begininig of a classic tourist tour, which shows, apart from the monuments (such as Duomo is S. Pietro, the Staircase of S. Giorgio, the typical small streets...) and the most famous chocolate of Modica. Within a half kilometer you can sample the chocolate and various other specialties produced by at least a dozen workshops. On the ground floor there is a small restaurant and in the area other typical Trattorias together with food shops that offer the typical products of the territory: oil, cheeses, meats, olives. The proximity to the bus terminal also allows you to use public transport to reach the beaches and the neighboring cities of art: Scicli, Ragusa, Noto, Ispica, Pozzallo. there is also a car rental agency within walking distance.

The structure has 2 studios (up to 3 beds) and two two room apartments (one up to 3 beds and another up to 5 beds). Both the studios that the two room apartments are furnished with every comfort: TV and air conditioning, central heating, fridge and kitchenette. The availability of kitchen, which features each apartment, allows you to experience yourself the typical flavors of the place.
